Clifford Barthe’s St. Augustine Purple Knights are the Catholic league favorite in 2009-2010. In fact, the Purple Knights are a real threat in 5A for state honors. Thus far this season, the Purple Knights have looked the part.

St. Augustine raced to a 37-21 halftime lead and coasted to a 62-48 victory over O. Perry Walker Friday night to move to 4-0 on the season. With the defeat, the Chargers fell to 3-3 on the season.
